What happens after you place an order?

Connect is designed to handle the printing and fulfilment of your greeting cards for you. Once an order is ready for production, we print the card, use our production markings to identify it correctly, pack it according to the order options you selected and prepare it for dispatch.

1. Print

Your artwork and any selected inner message are printed.

2. Pack

The card and chosen envelope are prepared for your order.

3. Dispatch

The finished order is placed in its outer mailer and sent to the delivery address.

The QR code and order code on the back

Each Connect card has a small unique QR code and coded text printed at the bottom of the back of the card. These production markings help us identify the card and dispatch the correct order.

Because these markings are added during production, we recommend keeping any important artwork, text, logos or other details away from these areas.

These codes are part of our fulfilment process

They allow the production team to identify and process individual cards accurately. Leave the bottom-back areas clear when positioning important design elements.

How a standard card is packed

For a standard Connect order, the printed card is packed with the chosen envelope colour in biodegradable cello wrap. It is then placed into a hardback outer envelope to help protect it during delivery.

Sending a card directly to the recipient

If you have an inner message printed, you can choose to have the card placed inside the coloured envelope before it is packed into the hardback outer envelope.

This option is designed for orders being sent directly to the recipient, so the card arrives ready for them to open. You'll see the option near the order button at checkout when it is available for your order.

What does the customer receive?

The finished order is sent in the protective hardback outer envelope with the delivery address and Royal Mail postage label on the outside.

Nothing about You Said It is printed on your cards or packaging, so Connect remains a white-label fulfilment service for your business.
