1. About Connect
Bluezon Limited trading as You Said It provides You Said It Connect, a UK print-on-demand greeting-card fulfilment service.
Company number: 06479756. Registered office: Unit 12 Currock Road, Carlisle, Cumbria, England, CA2 5AD.
Connect is designed for businesses, designers and other professional users. Your sale to your own customer is separate from the fulfilment service we provide to you.
3. The service
Connect allows you to upload artwork, place orders manually and, where available, import eligible orders from supported integrations. We print, finish, pack and dispatch accepted greeting-card orders using the options selected when the order is placed.
Features, integrations, cut-off times, card sizes, packaging and delivery services may change as the service develops.
4. Orders and acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase fulfilment services. A contract is formed when we accept the order and payment or account credit is authorised.
We may reject or cancel an order before production if payment fails, artwork is unsuitable, information is incomplete, the order breaches these terms, the delivery address appears invalid, or fulfilment is not reasonably possible.
You must check the artwork, size, quantity, recipient details, personalisation, envelope and delivery option before submitting the order.
5. Prices, VAT and payment
Current production and postage prices are shown on the website or within your Connect account. Unless expressly stated otherwise, production prices exclude VAT and postage.
Account credit can only be used to pay for Connect services. It is not cash, is normally non-transferable and is not refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed by us.
We may correct an obvious pricing error before accepting an order.
6. Artwork and intellectual property
You retain ownership of artwork and other content you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, reproduce and print that content only as necessary to provide Connect, support your account and fulfil orders.
You confirm that you own, license or otherwise have permission to use every element of the content you provide, including artwork, photographs, fonts, names, trade marks and personalisation.
We may refuse, remove or suspend content that appears unlawful, infringing, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, threatening, malicious or otherwise unsuitable for production.
7. Personalisation and production
Cards are produced to your instructions and may be personalised. Once production has started, an order cannot normally be changed or cancelled.
You are responsible for checking spelling, grammar, image quality, layout, colour expectations and personalisation supplied by you or your customer.
Commercial printing can involve minor differences in colour, position, trimming and finish. These normal tolerances are not defects.
8. Dispatch and delivery
We aim to dispatch eligible orders placed before the published weekday cut-off on the same working day, but dispatch and delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees.
Postal delays, weather, industrial action, bank holidays, address errors, customs or regulatory issues and events outside our reasonable control can affect delivery.
Connect currently dispatches orders only to UK addresses unless we expressly agree otherwise.
9. Problems, reprints and refunds
Tell us promptly if an item is damaged, defective or materially different from the accepted order. We may ask for the order reference and clear photographs.
Where we are responsible, our usual remedy will be a reprint, replacement, account credit or refund of the affected fulfilment charge, depending on the circumstances.
We are not responsible for customer-supplied errors, unsuitable or low-resolution artwork, normal printing tolerances, incorrect addresses, or postal delays within the selected service estimate. Nothing in these terms affects rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Store integrations and third-party platforms
By connecting a store or marketplace, you authorise Connect to access and process the information required to provide that integration and fulfil orders. You must comply with the relevant platform terms and have a lawful basis to share merchant, customer and recipient information with us.
For Shopify, permissions are shown during installation and data is used as described in our Privacy & Cookie Policy. Uninstalling the app revokes API access, although records required for accounting, dispute handling, security or legal compliance may be retained.
Shopify, WooCommerce, eBay and other platforms control their own systems and APIs. We do not guarantee uninterrupted integration availability and are not responsible for outages, API changes, limits, permission changes or platform suspensions outside our control.
11. Acceptable use
You must not use Connect to break the law, infringe another person's rights, mislead customers, transmit malware, interfere with security, attempt unauthorised access, scrape the service, or use unapproved automated access.
12. Availability and changes
We may maintain, update, restrict, replace or withdraw features where reasonably necessary for security, performance, legal compliance, platform compliance or service development.
We will try to give reasonable notice of material changes where practical, but urgent security or third-party platform changes may need to take effect immediately.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Connect and request account closure. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, security risk, legal or platform requirements, repeated misuse, infringement complaints or a material breach of these terms.
Termination does not remove payment obligations or provisions intended to continue, including intellectual-property, liability, record-retention and dispute provisions.
14. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost sales, lost business opportunity, loss of goodwill, or loss caused by third-party platforms, postal services or events outside our reasonable control.
For business users, our total aggregate liability arising from an affected order is limited to the amount paid to us for that order. If you use Connect as a consumer, any mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.
15. Your responsibility to us
You are responsible for claims, losses and reasonable costs caused by artwork, personalisation, marketing statements, unlawful instructions, missing customer permissions, or your breach of these terms or a third-party platform's rules.
16. Data protection
Each party must comply with applicable data-protection law. Our handling of personal information is explained in the Privacy & Cookie Policy.
Where we process recipient or customer data on your behalf for fulfilment, you are normally the controller and we act as your processor or service provider. You must provide appropriate privacy information to your customers.
17. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to a consumer in another part of the UK.
18. Contact
Questions about these terms or the Connect service can be sent through our contact page.
